Save the date…..4th Annual Free Family Event!
The 4th Annual Free Family Fall event is returning to the Yorkville StoryWalk at the Yorkville Junior Women’s Club Park at Heartland Circle on September 11*. But first….we need YOUR HELP to choose the next book to be featured at the StoryWalk!
Voting is officially OPEN and will last until August 31st. On the night of Thursday, September 11th ALL members of the Yorkville community are invited to join us for our Yorkville StoryWalk family event from 4:30-6:30pm, and walk along the path to read Laurie's book which wins the most votes from our community. As a bonus, meet author/illustrator Laurie Keller IN PERSON as she joins us to lead drawing demos and sign books. (How. Cool. Is. That?!)

Now Featuring: “Can I Be Your Dog?”
Arfy wants a home, and has decided to write letters to everyone on Butternut Street to tell them what a great pet he would make! Arfy’s letters tell his neighbors about his toys, his willingness to live with cats, and that he’s house broken….but who will be Arfy’s owner? Head to StoryWalk to find out!
Troy Cummings visited Yorkville to not only visit the StoryWalk, but to also attend the Year-End Elementary Family Night and the annual Early Childhood Family Event!
