2024 Solar eclipse
It all started when…
The reality that there would be a visible solar eclipse in our area, and our students would be in session during it, the district began discussions on how best to make viewing available to students. The YEF knew this is a fantastic opportunity to partner with the district to be a small part of history, and one day, students would think back and remember that they were able to view the eclipse!
The YEF is providing ISO rated 12312-2 solar eclipse viewing glasses for all students* and staff of Yorkville CUSD 115! This is a page of resources and links where staff, students, and parents may find more information about the eclipse.
